Supporting your needs, wants and hopes.
About Us
Located in the Hawkesbury on a peaceful, calm, 16- acre Horse property.
Adonai Equine was birthed out of a love of horses and people, which began over 15 years ago where we initially offered a range of Equine Services in Horse Agistment, training and riding. As the business grew over the years, we are now excited to be offering Equine Assisted learning (EAL) and Equine Assisted Psychotherapy (EAP).
As parents of children with additional needs, we got to experience first-hand with our own children the important role our horses played in teaching.
Our horses help our children with some important life skills of learning how to calm, increasing their own self-awareness and becoming more attuned to what the horses are communicating in their body language, in their facial expressions and how the horses communicate with each other. How horses seek safety and how they express their feelings safely.
I know the challenges parents face!! Getting children to room-based therapy was an impossible task for us as parents, but getting them to be with the horses where they could experience, explore and learn about their own feelings, thoughts and behaviours in connection with a horse, was made easy.
We specialise in teenagers and adults with disabilities, where they get to enjoy and experience being with horses as they develop important life skills, supporting them in their learning goals and pursuit for a brighter future.

Rosie is often known as “The Red Queen” because she loves the attention and wants it all to herself!! She is the boss of her own little herd and thats the way she likes things!! She is gentle, kind and curious.
Lexie is often seen around the property helping out looking after these beautiful horses. We so appreciate what she does!!
